Standing before his accusers, Jesus never wavered from the Truth.   While He lived a perfect life, he was standing accused by lies from liars.  But instead of striking down those who persecuted Him, He allowed Himself to go to His death for our behalf so that darkness would reign no longer.   He became King of a new Kingdom.
