Peter was revealed by the Spirit of God that Jesus was the Son of God.  His church will be built on this rock. But what Peter knew by the Spirit he was ignorant of in the flesh.  When Jesus says He must die, Peter was adamant that it would not happen.  Jesus calls his outburst that it was of Satan.   We must submit to the Spirit to fully understand God’s plan.
