Faith Comes from Hearing

Sept. 10th, 2023 - The Gospel is for all to hear but some who hear it have hardened hearts.  The early church faced this when many of the Jews in Rome had rejected Paul's preaching but, even Isaiah predicted this would occur and it would be the Gentiles who accepted the Gospel and would grow the Message beyond the borders of Israel where it began.   Likewise, we too today have a choice.  Do we concern ourselves with out daily, worldly cares and pursuits, maybe hearing the word but like the rocky soil, allowing it to blow away in the wind?  Or do we accept the gift that has been given us and plant it into fertile hearts that burst in an overflowing harvest, carrying the Gospel to others to receive as we received. Romans 10:14-17
